It's about 45 km from Taoyuan Airport to the hotel, and a private charter straight to the hotel entrance on Da'an Road is the easiest option. Section 1 of Da'an Road is an ordinary city street, so arrange to meet the driver at the hotel's main entrance and load up quickly, and let the driver know in advance if you have lots of luggage. The East District makes a good Taipei base: Jiufen, the Northeast Coast, Yilan or Yangmingshan all work as day trips, with dinner back in the city at night.
